Accepted Insurance Carriers
We will file any applicable insurance claims on your behalf. Please direct your questions or complaints regarding your coverage to your insurance carrier. We will be glad to help you as much as we can to improve the service.

If you have a Health Savings Account or other insurance that requires a receipt of your visit, please request a copy when you check out.

The Mason Dermatology Center has joined many health insurance plans as a provider: Aetna, Anthem, ChoiceCare-Humana, Cigna, Health Alliance, Humana, Medicare, Medical Mutual of Ohio, Ohio Health Choice, United Health Care, and many others.

Payment Options
Fees for office examination, treatment and surgery are determined by the nature and complexity of the problem. Patients are expected to pay deductibles, co-payments, and for cosmetic services at the time of the visit.

We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express and personal check or cash.

Appointment Scheduling Details
When you call for an appointment, please tell the receptionist the reason for your visit. If you have a managed care insurance plan, it is your responsibility to obtain a valid referral. You may have to reschedule the appointment if the referral is not in place at the time of visit.

Please update us with your new address, current health insurance and any other changes in demographic location.

Please call the office if you are unable to keep an appointment. This will allow us to better serve our other patients.

If you cannot keep your scheduled appointment, please call the office at least 24 hours in advance if possible to cancel.

Front_StaffThere is a $25.00 fee charged for a missed appointment unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.

In consideration of other patients, if you are more than 15 minutes late, it may be necessary to reschedule your appointment or wait until our staff can accommodate you. We certainly take traffic and weather into consideration.

Cell phones are permitted but please be courteous of those around you and our staff.

If you are under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must be present at your initial visit. Arrangements may be made to be seen alone in the future depending on the nature of the visit.
